Pizzaiolo – NONA

Our Company :

We are NONA. We have 2 Neapolitan pizzeria's, making pizza according to the rules of the AVPN in Naples (AVPN #699), based in Brussels, Belgium.

Our pizza is hand-made, with organic ingredients, from Belgian farmers, and is baked in a Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven.

We are looking for (experienced) pizzaioli to join our kitchen team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Help in preparing pizza from start to finish according to the rules of AVPN;
  • Prepping the seasonal ingredients when they arrive from our local suppliers;
  • Help making the dough, which rests for 48 – 72 hours;
  • Roll out the dough by hand;
  • Top the pizzas;
  • Bake the pizza at 475C – 500C in our Stefano Ferrara wood-fired oven;
  • Finish the pizzas.

Your Profile :

We are looking for someone who is :

  • Exceptionally friendly;
  • Confident, stress-resilient, and honest;
  • Reliable and hard-working.

Experience in a Neapolitan style pizzeria is a plus, but not necessary.

Our Offer :

In return we offer

  • Full time position with a competitive package:
    • A remuneration of €12.00 to €13.60 per hour depending on experience;
    • A 38-hour contract per week with the possibility of overtime (overtime is not taxed);
    • Two months of double pay per year (January and June);
    • Transportation to and from work is reimbursed;
    • Two full days off per week;
